ActiveProspect is a marketing Softwares as a Service platform for lead acquisition success.

The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing all projects required to build features for the ActiveProspect SaaS platform. This position is part of our product development team and will report to the CTO. You will maintain and update project timelines by working directly with developers and you will proactively communicate across departments as each project progresses. Visibility, accountability, and communication across the organization is vital for successfully building and maintaining both our technology and our team. And this will be your primary responsibility.


Working with the development process that’s in place, and suggesting improvements as needed

Orchestrate multiple concurrent projects and see each through to completion

Prepare and continuously update project timeline estimates

Provide consistent project visibility through reporting and status meetings with senior management

Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members regarding project timelines

Mitigate project risk to help achieve strategic company goals


What you’ll be doing

Planning and leading project kickoff meetings with the help of the Director of Product

Attending all development status meetings

Meeting with team leads regularly to establish timeline estimates for projects

Communicating status of features to leadership and the rest of the company

Coordinating feature releases with the Client Services and Marketing teams

Forecasting when projects might come to completion, and communicating to stakeholders

Planning and leading project retrospective meetings

Working with the development process that’s in place, and suggesting improvements as needed


The skills you’ll need to succeed

Experience working for a Software as a Service (SaaS) company

Understands how a SaaS product is built

Self starter with a drive to succeed

Clear and succinct communication

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines simultaneously

Excellent analytical capabilities to breakdown complex technical tasks into executable and measurable steps

Creative problem solver, able to accomplish goals through a variety of processes and tools

Strong technical aptitude with the capability of explaining our products


Your education

Bachelor’s degree

Engineering, Management Information Systems,  Computer Science or similar degree a plus
